- Pandemic Support: In 2017, EnDyna reviewed and updated the pandemic preparedness plan as it aligned with the Pentagon’s emergency response contingency plan to ensure the plan included proficient/certified Environmental Health Specialists to conduct and enforce critical health and safety guidance protocols during emergencies. We developed the Pandemic Response Guidelines, as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs), on how Federal and State governments can work together to manage large emergencies.
- COVID-19: EnDyna provided exceptional and prompt technical guidance to Senior WHS Leadership and various other organizations throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. Services included identification and definition of health concerns and transmission, providing guidance on respiratory protection and self-isolation, identifying processes for surface and area decontamination, researching and analyzing dozens of disinfection technologies and approved chemical disinfection products. Defined new parameters for specialty area evaluation (e.g. food services, Pentagon Athletic Centers, construction sites, HVAC system evaluations, drinking and wastewater risk assessments). EnDyna ultimately and successfully implemented preemptive operational continuity measures prior to significant onset of COVID-19.
EnDyna supports the National Guard Bureau (NGB) and specifically the ARNG Safety and Standardization Branch (ARNG-AVN-S) by conducting safety and occupational health program evaluations across the 54 ARNG states, territories, and the District of Columbia Joint Forces Headquarters. Our evaluations ensure compliance with OSHA statutes, the 6055 Department of Defense Instruction safety and occupational health series, and the 385 series Army Regulations. This enduring program review utilizes a comprehensive and collaborative three-phased audit approach developed by the NGB. This approach allows ARNG states, territories, and the District of Columbia to assess the effectiveness of their safety and occupational health program execution and the integration of ARNG and Army safety and occupational health programs into their organizational missions. In addition to program management, EnDyna, along with subcontractor Concurrent Technologies Corporation, Inc. (CTC), conducts both virtual and on-site comprehensive safety and health assessments. We also provide annual on-site and virtual safety and health training, ensuring that the ARNG meets all safety and occupational health requirements.
EnDyna Under this five-year blanket purchase agreement (BPA), EnDyna is providing: (1) technical emergency and outreach support in the development, revising, and updating of information related to occupational safety and health issues in order to assist compliance officers (CSHOs) in hazard recognition, evaluation and control involving mechanical, biological, chemical, natural, environmental, radiological, physical or other forms of hazardous conditions or practices; (2) assistance in the evaluation, improvement and expansion of the content of the OSHA website to ensure that up-to-date safety and health information is provided to all users; (3) technical support for the development and implementation of specialized training for specific audiences; (4) technical assistance in the development of industry specific safety and health initiatives including outreach and emphasis programs; and, (5) assistance to OSHA in providing safety and health technical assistance during national emergencies or disasters response and recovery operations.
EnDyna supported WHS in developing protocol, performing testing, and submitting regulatory documentation in compliance with RRMC’s Title V Permit. EnDyna developed a protocol to perform performance testing on the diesel generator engine for nitrogen oxides, as required by RRMC’s Title V Permit and Clean Air Act requirements. EnDyna oversaw stack emission testing in accordance with the Title V Air Permit conditions, Clean Air Act requirements, and applicable state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines for one diesel generator engine. The team also provided a load bank for testing, while RRMC electricians connected and disconnected the load bank or other equipment to the existing electrical system. The EnDyna team conducted three 1-hour runs of EPA Methods 1-4 and 7E to determine stack gas velocity, temperature, volumetric flow rate, moisture content, and nitrogen oxide emissions. A temporary stack extension was installed. EnDyna monitored the testing and recorded all process data. Finally, we prepared and submitted a final report, including all process data, to meet applicable regulatory requirements.
EnDyna provides independent environmental regulatory compliance and Environmental Management System (EMS) auditing and consulting services, including training support, at various NIH locations. EnDyna custom developed a web-based application audit tool, EnDyna-RegC, which is used to track progress in compliance and implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs). EnDyna-RegC is a database tracking and reporting tool that can be used easily on laptops and tablets and can be made available online. Our services cover areas such as Air, Water, Stormwater, Underground and Aboveground Storage Tanks, TSCA, Medical Pathological Waste, Solid Waste, FIFRA, Recycling, Energy, and Emergency Programs.
