Policy and Program Support
EnDyna supports the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, other federal agencies, and the states in formulating environmental policies and developing and instituting programs to implement those policies. The firm's services include:
- development of office- and facility-based support programs;
- analysis of the technical and management feasibility of alternative regulatory strategies;
- development of guidance materials;
- management of the public and peer review comment and response process; and
- analysis of the benefits of environmental policies, regulations, and program initiatives.
Guidance and Policy Support
EnDyna provides a broad range of services to meet the clients’ specific guidance and policy support needs. Examples of services the firm offers are:
- development of models, protocols, issue papers and technical guidance;
- support of risk assessment and risk management decision making;
analysis of risk basis/risk reduction impacts of regulatory and non-regulatory options;
- development and delivery of training; and
- design and production of print and electronic communication products.
Emergency Management
EnDyna is supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (USEPA) Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and Office of Radiation and Indoor Air (ORIA) in their emergency prevention, preparedness, and response duties. The purpose of our OEM Regulation, Evaluation and Technical Support Contract is to obtain technical and regulatory development services to support USEPA in developing and implementing prevention programs to reduce the risk of discharging releases of oil and releases of hazardous substances to the environment, for building preparedness capacity for oil and hazardous substances emergencies, and for responding to emergency events and discharges of oil and releases of hazardous materials. To ensure that this Nation is better prepared for environmental emergencies, OEM works with other EPA partners, federal agencies, state and local response agencies, industry, and other related stakeholders to prevent accidents as well as maintain superior response capabilities.
